Himalayan

salt cave

Created in 2015, by the crew of Inner Journey Healing Arts Center, it was the 1st Himalayan Salt Cave in Michigan. Since then, many have experienced the cave's healing negative ions that clear molds and allergens from the air, allowing the body to absorb oxygen more efficiently. Spending time in the salt cave environment can also be beneficial for those with asthma, allergies, arthritis, bronchitis, COPD, cystic fibrosis, fibromyalgia, inflammation, insomnia, seasonal affective disorder, sinus congestion and more...

Himalayan salt has 84 of the 92 trace elements and minerals in the same proportions that are naturally found in the human body. It is anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and antiseptic. The negative ions created by the Himalayan salt counterbalances the positive ions created in today's modern lifestyle by our many electronic devices, cell phones, tablets, & computers. The negative ions neutralize the atmosphere, which decreases stress, balances moods and causes a release of serotonin in the brain, which can increase a more restful sleep pattern. Negative ions are naturally created by waterfalls, rainstorms and lightening, or by the pounding surf at the beach.

One hour in the Himalayan Salt cave can have the same effects as spending 1-3 days at the beach...

Our Himalayan salt cave`s temperature is typically between 85-90 degrees, yet is adjusted seasonally or for individual preferences, as can be lighting and background music.

Guided meditations, Crystal bowl sound meditations and various other workshops and vision quests are offered periodically in the Cave. A number of our services may also be offered in the cave setting, including massage, Reflexology, couples massage, Reiki, acupressure, chakra balancing and energy work...
